Since the Digital Learning Hub (DLH) was launched in 2022, the Restena Foundation has been regularly engaged with this continuing professional training structure of the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth (MENJE).
In February 2024, Restena offers two training courses, one within the 'Cyber Security' pillar, another one within the ‘Coding, IT Administration & Cloud’ pillar. On 8 and 9 February 2024, two of Restena’s engineers will cover two key topics in a total of 17 hours of training:
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA) - MFA allows a secured connection by providing two or more distinct proofs of identity.
➔ Restena has implemented strong, phishing-resistant MFA for its own staff resources, and is working with the international eduroam community to move eduroam accounts towards MFA.
- Ansible - Ansible is an IT automation software application written in Python that can configure systems, deploy software, and orchestrate advanced workflows to support application deployment, system updates, and more.
➔ Ansible helps deploy, configure and maintain all Restena services in compliance with operational and security best practices.
The Restena's training courses, like all the others in the catalogue, lead to the issue of a certificate of participation by the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth.
